I would say unbeatable for the price - I got to this hotel when it was just built a few months ago - VERY clean, great atmoshere and service. You can't go wrong especially if you need or want to stay in that area. Modern vibe and friendly staff.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Stayed in one bedroom suite and was impressed for the price. Very roomy with full kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here a few times, and I always love the studio rooms with the amenities it offers. The only thing I did not care for is that the prices are higher than when it was Hotel Sierra. Hoping that doesn't stay that way or I'll be looking for another hotel when I am in San Jose, CA.

This is the first time we stay in the Sierra Hotel we love the modern decor. The brreaksfast is great and it is served early. the stafff is very friendly too. We will continue to stay there when we are in the area

This hotel was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Target, Great America, restaurants all in a 2 mile radius. Secured parking garage, close to freeways... The service there for me was also the best service I have experienced. The front desk lady, Brenda (that's how good she was I made a point to remember her name) went above and beyond to  make us feel comfortable and at home. She was very nice and not that 'fake' nice either. The room was amazing. I was expecting the flat screen tv and the huge bed but I was NOT expecting a full size refrigerator, dishwasher with soap, dishes, stove, pots, pans, coffee maker, all cutlery including a cork screw for wine. =) Hairdryer, 'nap&snooze' clock... 1 thing I will say and I usually am not a pest about this is that there was no option to buy movies from the TV. BUT I understand you can bring your own blue ray player or dvd and use that instead. I would def stay here again and I am actually looking forward to it...

Stayed here the weekend before Christmas to see friends in San Jose and do some shopping. We were unfamiliar with the area or how easy it was to get around, so this location seemed as good as any other. The reviews were excellent, a real breakfast was to be included, and the room was advertised as a suite so we pictured the baby sleeping in the bedroom  while we relaxed in the other room (impossible in a regular room). Turns out the reviews were right on the money! The hotel is brand new so everything was in great shape. The hotel sits in a parking lot shared by several good restaurants, and there is a giant Target right across the street (but nicely out of sight). The lobby is really open and modern; there's a business center with several machines, and a pretty swank hotel bar too. This is also where the breakfast is in the morning, which was in fact a "real" breakfast. Buffet line with hot items, an omelette bar, fresh fruit, etc. One of the better included breakfasts I've ever had. Our room was in fact a real suite. We had a full kitchen that was unusually nice. Dishwasher, full size fridge, stove. We were only in town for a few minutes but if I were staying long term for business this would be an amazing convenience. The main room had a couch and a chair as well as a desk and chair, plus a big flat screen TV. There was also a connector door to the next room we didn't use. The bedroom is through a door and housed a giant king size bed and another giant flat screen TV. And yes, most channels were in HD! The bathroom is off the bedroom with a sink outside with the closet, then the toilet and shower behind a pocket door. The shower was AWESOME; big, well-lit and lots of water pressure. We asked for a crib (had to ask twice, but not a big deal) and it was actually a "pack and play" so it was collapsible and could be stored well out of the way if needed. We loved this place. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. Upgraded to the larger king room and we had plenty of space, a full kitchen, great shower (one of my biggest gripes when traveling), surprisingly good complimentary breakfast, free parking, and a very friendly staff. Two thumbs up! And just FYI, there is another Hotel Sierra near by  that has a trendier location.

They advertised they were close to the city. We found it out of the way. Its located in the Silicon Valley Business District. Our view from the hotel was the Target parking lot and construction underway. We did not find it centrally located for what we were looking for. However, it is a brand new hotel and very nice. Overall it was worth the drive.
